Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Application

AB 1998 (2022, Smith) authorized a select number of California Community Colleges to participate in the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Program, providing discounted nonresident tuition fees for a limited number of qualifying students from qualifying Western States. Students approved to participate in the WUE Program will be granted a tuition rate of 150% the California state rate, equaling $69/unit.

FRC is limited on the number of students that can participate in the WUE Program. Applicants must meet specific criteria and if accepted as a WUE Student, must maintain eligibility criteria.

WUE students may receive the discounted rate for a maximum of two years, or until their program is complete, whichever is later. Visit https://www.frc.edu/admissions/western-undergraduate-exchange for additional information.
